Permissions

You’ll have to be either the whiteboard OWNER or in the ADMINS role to perform the following actions.

Step-by-Step guide

From the homepage

  1. Click on the at the far right of the whiteboard you wish to edit and select the option Share:

  1. On the Contributors screen, locate the whiteboard owner, click on and select the Change Owner option:

  1. Click on the select list and start typing the user you want to appoint as the new whiteboard owner:

  1. Click on Edit to apply the changes and transfer the ownership.

From within the whiteboard

  1. Click on the and select the option Share:

  1. On the Contributors screen, locate the whiteboard owner, click on and select the Change Owner option:

  1. Click on the select list and start typing the user you want to appoint as the new whiteboard owner:

  1. You may either remain in the whiteboard as a Viewer or be redirected to the homepage, depending on the default role set.

Important Tips

  • Depending on the default role set for the whiteboard, the previous owner might end up with no permissions after que ownership is transferred. You can grant access by either CHANGING THE DEFAULT ROLE or ADDING CONTRIBUTORS.
