Accessing a project through the administration page

Step-by-Step guide

  1. Access the “Manage your apps” section by clicking on “Apps” in Jira:

  1. Look for “Option Manager ” on the “Apps” section and click on it:

  1. You’ll land on the administration page, where you can see and manage all the projects currently mapped to our app:

  • Accessing the project board through the administration page:

  1. Locate the project you wish to access and click on its name:

  1. If you have the Browse Project permission, you’ll be redirected to the project’s default board:

  • Accessing the fields management screen on project settings through the administration page:

  1. Click on the and on ‘View Project Settings’ right after:

  1. You’ll be redirected to the custom fields management screen on the current project:


Important Tips

  • If you don’t have the Browse Project permission on the project you wish to access, you’ll stumble upon a default restriction page to indicate you’ve either lost access to it or it has been deleted.

  • As long as you’re a Jira Administrator, you will be able to access the custom fields management settings even if you don’t have access to the project itself.
