⭐ Permissions

You’ll have to be either the whiteboard OWNER or in the ADMINS role to perform the following actions.

✍️ Step-by-Step guide

  1. Click on the (blue star) at the far right of the whiteboard you wish to edit and select the option Share:

  1. On the Contributors screen, locate the whiteboard owner. Click on (blue star) and select Change Owner:

  1. On the modal below, start typing the user you want to appoint as the new whiteboard owner and click on its name to select it:

  1. Click on Edit to apply the changes:

(lightbulb) Important Tips

  • If you want the previous owner to still be able to see or edit the whiteboard, you must add them as a contributor. Otherwise, they’ll end up with no permissions once the ownership is transferred to another user. Checkout our CONTRIBUTORS page to understand what they can do and how to share your whiteboard with them.

  • You can transfer a whiteboard back by manually changing owners again.
