Sharing Dynamic Boards

Step-by-Step:

• From the homepage:

1. Access the homepage by navigating to “Apps” and clicking on “Advanced Columns”.

2. Locate the board you want to share, click on and on “Share” right after:

• From within the board:

1. Access the board you wish to share by clicking on its name.

2. Once inside the board, click on and on “Share” right after:

Open

3. Once the modal has opened, you will be able to share your board by selecting a option on the field “Viewers”:

You can share your board with the following options:

• My organization: Any logged user of your site.

• Group: You can choose one or more groups that you have access.

• User: You can choose single users of your site.

• Private: Only you will have access to the board.

4. Click on “Add” after each selection add it as a viewer:

Click on “Save” to apply the changes and make your board available to the selected viewers.

Important Tips:

• You can share a board with your whole organization upon creation by enabling the Public toggle on the creation screen. If you leave it disabled, the newly created board will be set as Private by default.

• You can share your board with all the groups in your Jira instance, even if you’re not a member of them.

• When accessing a board you haven’t been granted access to, you’ll be redirected to a default restriction page informing you’re either lacking permission to view it or the board does not exist anymore.
