Throughout our years of working with Atlassian as Solution Partners, we have learned that most teams still practices classic project management frameworks while dreaming of getting to a point where that they can migrate to agile as well. Sometimes this dream is what convince they to come to Jira.
Jira’s out-of-box boards are an incredible tool when it comes to working with agile frameworks, mainly when your working with a team that already has a great level of maturity in agile. But when it comes to customizing a board to fit traditional process it is a bit more tricky.
With ADVANCE COLUMNS we want to cover this bridge from traditional to classic by giving you full flexibility on how the board columns should work. This allows teams to define what is considered as To Do, WIP, Done without impacting Jira’s reports. Instead of creating extremely complex workflows to fit your team, you can just customize your board.
Our app can also be useful to achieve very different goals, it can be used to track multiple queues from a Service Management project all in the same place, on the dynamic board. It can also be used as a reporting tool, by creating columns and converting them into graphic.
We are releasing the app in a free beta version in order to collect your feedback and ideas. This will allow us to build a solid solution before launching the complete version in the marketplace.
