✍️ Step-by-Step:

  1. Access a board in Advanced Columns.

  2. Locate the custom column you want to clone on the board.

  3. Click on “Three dots icon” and select “Clone”.

  1. Provide the necessary details for the new cloned column:

    • Name: Enter a unique name for the cloned column. It should not match any existing column names.

    • Description: Optionally, you can add a description to explain the purpose of the cloned column.

    • Saved Filter: Choose whether to keep the original column's JQL filter or assign a different one (optional).

    • Admins: Decide whether to retain the same administrators as the original column or assign new ones (optional).

  2. Confirm the cloning action.

  3. Save the changes to create the cloned custom column.

📝 Important Tips:

  • Choose a unique and descriptive name for the cloned column to avoid confusion with existing columns.

  • Consider updating the description of the cloned column if its purpose differs from the original.

  • When deciding on the JQL filter, ensure it aligns with the intended use of the cloned column.

  • Review and assign the appropriate administrators to manage the cloned column effectively.
