✍️ Step-by-Step:

  1. Access a board in Advanced Columns.

  2. Locate the custom column you wish to edit on the board.

  3. Click on “three dots icon” to enter the edit mode.

  1. Modify the following details as needed:

    • Name: Update the name of the column if necessary (must remain unique).

    • Description: Modify the column's description to provide new information or make it more accurate (optional).

    • Saved Filter: Change the associated JQL filter if you want to update the column's filtering criteria (optional).

    • Admins: Make changes to the administrators responsible for managing the column (optional).

  2. Save the changes to update the custom column.

📝 Important Tips:

  • When modifying the "Name" field, ensure the new name remains unique and does not conflict with other existing column names.

  • Editing the "Description" can help keep the information up-to-date and relevant to users.

  • If you change the associated JQL filter, ensure the new filter aligns with the column's purpose.

  • When updating column administrators, consider assigning the right individuals to manage the column effectively.
