✍️ Step-by-Step:

  • From the homepage:

  1. Access the homepage by navigating to “Apps” and clicking on “Advanced Columns”.

  2. Switch the view from Dynamic Boards to Advanced Columns by clicking on the “Dynamic Boards” dropdown and selecting the columns page.

  • From within a board

  1. Locate the column you wish to delete and click on (blue star) and on “Delete” right after.

  2. Confirm that you wish to permanently delete the column and remove it from all boards.

Before deleting a column, do note that this action is irreversible. Removing a column from a board will only hide it from that specific board, whilst deleting a column will permanently erase it from the database. Only delete a column when you’re sure that you won’t be needing it anymore.

📝 Important Tips:

  • If a column is being used by one or more boards at the moment of the exclusion, you will be prevented from deleting if unless you’re the column owner or the admin for all boards that have that column.

  • An admin for all boards can always delete a column straight way. Other users may need to individually remove the column from each board to be able to delete it.

  • After deleting a column, it will no longer be available for adding to a board. If you wish to revert this action, you’ll have to create the column again.
