Boards are a project management tool designed to help teams visualize and track work in a more efficient way. It’s improve their productivity. It gathers columns based on a JQL search that brings all the issues that needed to be shown and displays them as cards that can be transitioned to tracked at the available columns. Columns can represent the status of a team’s workflow and but can also be personalized according to their needs to reflect their process more accuratelycustomized to provide a dashboard-like reporting view.

The main idea concept of what is a board is to display work in a dynamic and consice structure to allow people to keep up with what everyone is doing and to also encourage a more proactive, collaborative and commited approach to the pending work and the work in progress. A board admit an infinite amount of columns, but we recommend keeping it at what your team actually needson our app is a bit different than what you might expect. It is not restricted to representing workflows. You can also make a board to track tickets from a Service Management project, all your tasks from different projects and even use them as a reporting tool by converting your columns into a pie chart.
On the homepage, all the boards whose you’re the owner or the administrator will appear in a list like the one shown below:
you can find all boards you have access to, including boards created by others that have been shared with you.
Here, you can either search for specific boards by their name and description in the textbox or filter them by their owners /adminsor their labels. You can also create a brand new board by clicking “Create Board” on the top right. Note that when you create a board you’ll automatically become its owner and therefore have all administrative privileges over it.
