  • From within a board:

  2. Locate the custom column you wish to edit on the board.

  3. Click on “three dots icon” to enter the edit mode.

    • Name: Update the name of the column if necessary (must remain unique).

    • Description: Modify the column's description to provide new information or make it more accurate (optional).

    • Saved Filter: Change the associated JQL filter if you want to update the column's filtering criteria (optional).

    • Admins: Make changes to the administrators responsible for managing the column (optional).

  2. Save the changes to update the custom column.

  • When modifying the "Name" field, ensure the new name remains unique and does not conflict with other existing column names.

📝 Important Tips:

  • Filling required fields is mandatory to edit a column. To avoid duplication, consider choosing an unique name for your columns. If you leave the field “Name” blank or choose a name that is already in use, a message will be displayed according to the situation:
