  • From within a board:

  1. Access a board in on the homepage by clicking on its name:

  1. Identify the column you wish to assign an admin.

  2. Click on (blue star) and on “Share” right after.

  • On the columns page:

  1. Identify the column you wish to assign an admin.

  2. Click on (blue star) and on “Share” right after.

  • On the Expanded column page:

  1. Click on (blue star) and on “Edit” “Share” right after.

  1. Once the editing modal has opened, click on “Admins” and select one or more available users on the locate the “Admins” section.

You will be able to make the following users admins of your column:

  • Group: You can choose one or more groups to manage the selected column.

  • User: You can choose single users of your site.

  • Private: Only you will have administrative privileges.

  1. Click on “Add” to add to the admins list.

  2. Click on “Save” to turn the selected user(s) into that column admin(s).

Note

Board admins will be able to clone and remove columns even if they aren’t column admins.

  • Assigning an administrator allow you to establish a more centralized management and alleviate administrative overload from your team, but keep in mind that this role comes with privileged permissionsAdmins can perform all operations on your columns, so make sure you’re adding adequate users.
